Sensible cobs are getting so very hard to find now and the prices have rocketed! They are like goldust in fact, but Splash was a real find and worked as my escort horse whilst Jasmin was off work and was proving to be a steady hack and a real asset to our equine team.
Sadly Splash at some point we think has had some sort of trauma leaving her with a problem somewhere in her neck, so she has been retired from the riding school and was been sent to stud. Nobody seems to be breeding sensible cobs and we thought she would be a super mum! Over the years we have bred many foals so it will be nice to do so again!
She gave birth to a stunning chestnut filly foal called Antionette by Tubbertelly Monty (below) on 10th July 2025.
We have tried to get her in foal again this year, sadly without success, but she is keeping Candy company while Candy is expecting!
