Finding suitable horses and ponies for the riding school has become very difficult and if you can find anything that has done a bit they cost a small fortune! This lovely young mare came up for sale on Juliet Clarke’s Facebook page and I thought was worth a chance. Juliet always does an honest advert and we have had quite a few horses and ponies from her in the past. We have to buy unseen as she is a two to three hour drive away and her horses and ponies sell very quickly. When I called Juliet to ask her to book a vetting for Paige she had to stop two people on their way to view her!
At just 4 years old she is a bit of a project but has a wonderful temperament and attitude and is learning fast. She is quite weak and lacking any muscle at the moment. Caroline is longreining her and we are using her for escort for steady rides so that she learns the job and builds up some muscle. She is a willing pupil and always tries to please and everyone loves her already.
She will be stunning when she matures!
