Maple (originally Magpie) was exchanged with the dealer for Comet, who was not going to work out as a riding school horse. Maple was initially ridden and trained by the staff, as she was a young pony. Hayley Green (pictured above) schooled her as a project and she has now settled well to work in the school – even with our young Pony Clubbers!
Maple made friends with Willow who arrived from the same dealer a few months earlier. They were both the same age.
